Founded in 1993, IMS (International Marine Specialists Ltd) and part of British insurance group DRP, provides advice to American Surplus Lines brokers and agents on Ocean marine, transit and stock throughput risks and access to the vibrant UK insurance market for their clients.

In our view, advice must be impartial, highly useful and honest; this leads to trust, confidence, and respect which, in turn, leads to high quality, mutually beneficial business.
Our access to and knowledge of UK markets ensures that the right decisions can be made by Surplus lines brokers and agents for their clients. Simply acting as a conduit to the UK market is not enough; if our advice and solutions result in your clients’ business being placed with us then we shall be delighted but this will never override acting in yours and your clients’ best interests.
